Today, the Public Commissioner appeared before the Appeal Chamber to proceed with the judicial review of the appeal against Decision no. 767/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, pertaining to the assessee, Mrs. Sofia Zhilla, former inspector at the former High Council of Justice.
The Appeal Chamber, at the end of the judicial review, by a majority of votes decided:
- The termination of the transitional re-evaluation process for the assessee Mrs. Sofia Zhilla without a final decision on the case, due to the object and purpose of this process becoming unattainable.
- The decision was announced today in Tirana, December 12, 2024.
Under the Article 16, Point 1 of the Institution of Public Commissioners’ regulations, the appeal and elements of the case are published on the institution’s official website, which can be accessed at https://ikp.al/ankime.
The Institution of Public Commissioners has been established and operates under Article 179/b and the Annex of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania and Law No. 84/2016, “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”.
