Florian Ballhysa
Public Commissioner
Mr. Ballhysa’s professional experience spans roles as a lawyer, legal advisor, and independent legal consultant. He has worked extensively with the Ministry of Justice, the High Court, the Parliament of Albania, and on projects funded by international organizations.
Since 1999, Florian Ballhysa has been actively involved in civil society. He has served as a member of the assembly, a board member, and most recently, as chairman of the assembly of the Albanian Helsinki Committee.
In 2017, by decision No. 82/2017 of the Albanian Parliament, Mr. Florian Ballhysa was elected as a Public Commissioner.
Irena Nino
Public Commissioner
For nearly 20 years, she has worked within the prosecution system, serving in the Shkodër District Prosecution Office, the General Prosecution Office, and the Tirana Prosecution Office.
Mrs. Nino has also been a member of the Independent Judicial Reform Monitoring Commission, elected by the Albanian Assembly. In 2021, by decision No. 62 of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Mrs. Nino was elected as a Public Commissioner in the Institution of the Public Commissioners.
