On 25.03.2022, at end of the respective hearing session, the Independent Qualification Commission decided the confirmation in duty of the assessee, Mr. Kastriot Gramshi, judge at Tirana Judicial District Court.
The decision no. 519/2022, of the Independent Qualification Commission was notified to the Public Commissioners on 09.05.2022.
Today, on 16.05.2022, the International Monitoring Operation (IMO) presented to the Public Commissioners the recommendation to appeal the decision to the Appeal Chamber.
The Public Commissioners are taking a simultaneous review of the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and the recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation.
Based on point 1, Article 63, of law no.84/2016 “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, the Public Commissioners, has the right to appeal the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission to the Appeal Chamber, within 15 days as of the notification.
