The Public Commissioner within the legal time limit filed an appeal at the Appeal Chamber by the Constitutional Court against Decision no. 730/2024, issued by the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mr. Valentin Preçi serving as a prosecutor in the Prosecution Office of the First Instance Court of Tirana General Jurisdiction.
The Public Commissioner, after reviewing the decision no. 730/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and in accordance with the IMO’s Recommendation, determines that the decision on the confirmation in office of the assessee, Mr. Valentin Preçi is vulnerable in its entirety and contains sufficient legal grounds to be submitted for review, through the appeal process, under the controlling and re-evaluation jurisdiction of the Appeal Chamber.
The Public Commissioner requests the Appeal Chamber to thoroughly examine the appeal grounds, upon concluding the full investigation of the case, to decide the amendment of the decision no. 730/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Mr. Valentin Preçi.
