The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber, while continued the review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 22/2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the subject of re-evaluation Mr. Edmond Islamaj, Judge at the Supreme Court.
At the end of the judicial deliberation, the Public Commissioner and the subject of re-evaluation, presented the final conclusions.
The Public Commissioner stood for all grounds of the appeal, as administrated additional evidence presented by the Appeal Chamber during the hearing, and requesting from the adjudication panel to assess the veracity of the facts in their final decision.
Based on the final conclusions, the Public Commissioner expresses, related to the subject of re-evaluation in the asset assessment criterion, that has conducted insufficient declaration in terms of paragraph 3 and 5 of Article D, of the Annex of the Constitution, Article 33 and 61/3/5, of law no 84/2016, requesting from the panel, to amend the decision no. 22/2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and to dismiss from office the subject of re-evaluation Mr.Edmond Islamaj.
The Adjudication Panel announced the end of the hearing, and behind closed doors shall issue the decision to be announced on May 22, 2019, at 15:00 p.m.
