On December 10, 2019, in end of the respective hearing session, the Independent Qualification Commission decided on the confirmation in duty of the subject of re-evaluation, Mrs. Anita Jella, prosecutor /Head of the Prosecution Office in the First Instance Court, Durrës.
The decision no. 221/2019, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the confirmation in duty of Mrs. Anita Jella, was notified to the Public Commissioners on 10.2.2020.
Today, on February 12, 2020, the International Monitoring Operation, has submitted to the Public Commissioners the recommendation to appeal to the Appeal Chamber the decision of the three assessment criteria for the re-evaluation subject, Mrs. Anita Jella.
The Public Commissioners, simultaneously are reviewing the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and the recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation.
Based on point 1, Article 63, of law no.84/2016 “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, the Public Commissioners, has the right to appeal the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission to the Appeal Chamber, within 15 days as of the notification.

The Institution of Public Commissioners has been established and operates under Article 179/b of the Annex of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania and Law No. 84/2016, “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”.
