The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber, while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 162/2019, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the subject of re-evaluation Mrs. Manjola Kajana, prosecutor in the Prosecution Office of the First Instance Court for Serious Crimes.
At the commencement of the hearing session, the chairperson of the adjudication panel notified the parties of the filing by the Appeal Chamber, of new acts delivered by subsidiary institutions and of some new evidence related to the subject of re-evaluation.
The Public Commissioner, in his position, requested to be provided more time in order to review the documents enabled by the institutions as well as of the new acts of the re-evaluation subject, delivered by the Appeal Chamber to the Institution of the Public Commissioners, on June 15, 2020.
The subject of re-evaluation also requested time to review the documents with relevant responses of the listed institutions, at the request of the Appeal Chamber.
In furtherance of the examination of the case, the Adjudication Panel ruled to accept in quality of evidence all the above-mentioned acts, and at the request of the Public Commissioner and the subject of re-evaluation, to analyze the new evidence and consequently to provide their viewpoint, in the next hearing scheduled to be held on June 23,2020, at 11:00 a.m.
The Adjudication Panel requested to the parties with regard to the next hearing, also to arrange for the overall conclusions.
