The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 316/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, of the assessee, Mr. Ibrahim Hoxha former judge of the Tirana Judicial District Court.
During the verification of the parties’ presence in the hearing, the presiding judge ascertained the absence of the assessee, about which informed that through the electronic correspondence, he had confirmed the receipt of the information related to the hearing session.
In such circumstances the adjudication panel decided to continue the judicial review in absentia of the assessee, inviting the Public Commissioner to submit the appeal grounds.
The Public Commissioner sustained all the appeal grounds and requested from the adjudication panel to overturn the decision no. 316/2020, and to order the Independent Qualification Commission to classify as incomplete the process of the assessee Mr. Ibrahim Hoxha.
Subsequently, the Public Commissioner responded to the questions addressed by the case rapporteur mainly related to the seeking appeal.
The adjudication panel after being acquainted with the Public Commissioner’s stance, decided to adjourn the hearing on October 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
