The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while initiated the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 392/2021, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mrs. Natasha Prifti (Shallapi), prosecutor at Lushnje District Prosecution Office.
During the verification of the parties’ presence in the hearing, the presiding judge announced that the parties had filed by the Chamber the submissions, and invited them to present them during the hearing session.
The Public Commissioner standing by all the appeal grounds introduced in the appeal, also in consideration of the IMO Recommendation, stated the cases for review by the Appeal Chamber, and at the end submissions requested from the adjudication panel that after an overall assessment of the procedures, to decide the amendment the decision no. 392/2021, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee Mrs. Natasha Prifti (Shallapi).
The assessee, through the legal representative, claimed the opposite of the appeal grounds, requesting the upholding of the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission to her confirmation in office.
After questions from the members of the adjudication panel, the presiding judge declared the closing of the judicial investigation and invited the parties to present their final conclusions.
The Public Commissioner requested time in order to prepare the final conclusions of the case and the panel on –the- spot- consultation, decided to adjourn the following hearing on June 27, 2022, at 14:00 p.m.
