The Public Commissioner within the legal time limit filed an appeal at the Appeal Chamber by the Constitutional Court against Decision no. 756/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mrs. Klerona Meçi, serving as a legal advisor at the General Prosecution Office.
The Public Commissioner, after the review of decision no. 756/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, determines that the assessee does not achieve a trustable level for confirmation in office, as outlined in the conditions specified in Article 61, points 3 and 5 of Decree no. 84/2016, “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania.”
The Public Commissioner requests that the appeal grounds be reviewed by the Appeal Chamber and, following a thorough examination of the case, to decide the amendment of decision no. 756/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Mrs. Klerona Meçi.
