The Public Commissioner within the legal time limit filed an appeal at the Appeal Chamber by the Constitutional Court against Decision no. 773/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, concerning the assessee, Mr. Juljan Haxhiu, who serves as a judge at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana.
After reviewing decision no. 773/2024 of the Independent Qualification Commission, the Public Commissioner finds that the assessee is in a position that breaches the public trust in the justice system and consequently does not meet a qualifying level for confirmation in office.
The Public Commissioner requests that the appeal grounds be reviewed by the Appeal Chamber and, upon a thorough investigation of the case to decide the amendment of decision no. 773/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Mr. Juljan Haxhiu.
