The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 273/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, of the assessee Ms. Alkelina Gazidedja, judge at Tirana Administrative Court of Appeal.

The Presiding judge after verifying the presence of the parties in the hearing invited them to present their final conclusions.

The Public Commissioner, in sustaining all the appeal grounds, as well as the written submissions presented during the court hearings, conducted in the framework of this adjudication, concluded that the allegations submitted by the assessee failed to prove the opposite of the appeal grounds. At the end of the final conclusions, based on the Recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation, the Public Commissioner requested from the Appeal Chamber the amendment of the decision no. 273/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Ms. Alkelina Gazidedja.

The assessee, through the legal representative, stated the objections to the appeal grounds, which were mostly related to the asset assessment criterion, and in a written form filed her defense for the grounds related to the proficiency assessment criterion.

The adjudication panel, after hearing the final conclusions, decided to declare closed the judicial review and withdrew to the deliberation room for the communication of the final decision, which will be announced on November 23, at 12:00 p.m.
