The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber, while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 58/2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the subject of re-evaluation Mr. Besnik Muçi, currently assigned judge by the Constitutional Court.
The Public Commissioner, in its final conclusions, stood for all the grounds of the appeal and declared that the subject of re-evaluation is found in conditions of failure to accurately and fully disclose his assets, and he did not credibly justify the lawful origin of their creation.
The Public Commissioner, requested to the adjudication panel to modify the decision no.58/2019, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and to dismiss from office the subject of re-evaluation, Mr. Besnik Muçi.
The subject of re-evaluation, in the final conclusions, opposed all the grounds of the appeal of the Public Commissioner by claiming he has proven otherwise. He demanded to the adjudication panel to uphold the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission related to his confirmation in duty.
The Adjudication Panel, at the end of the judicial review, withdrew for deliberation, and shall announce their decision on November 21, 2019, at 11:00.a.m.
