On December 20, 2018, in conclusion of the respective hearing session, the Independent Qualification Commission decided on confirmation in duty of the subject of re-evaluation, Mr. Adnand Kosova prosecutor at the General Prosecutor’s Office.
The Decision no. 90/2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission related to the confirmation in duty of the prosecutor Mr. Adnand Kosova, has been notified to the Public Commissioners on January 30, 2019.
Today, on February 1, 2019, the International Monitoring Operation has submitted to the Public Commissioners the recommendation to appeal this decision to the Appeal Chamber.

The Public Commissioners are already reviewing the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and the recommendation of International Monitoring Operation.
Based on point 1, Article 63, law no.84/2016 “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, the Institution of Public Commissioners, has the right to appeal the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission at the Appeal Chamber, within 15 days from the notification.
The Institution of Public Commissioners has been established and operates under Article 179/b of the Annex of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania and Law No. 84/2016, “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”.
Public Commissioners represent the public interest during the process of Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania.
