The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber, while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 62/2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the subject of re-evaluation Mr. Artur Malaj, judge at the Administrative Court of Appeal, Tirana.
During today’s hearing, the adjudication panel invited the parties to submit their final conclusions.
The Public Commissioner stood for all the grounds set forth by him in the appeal of October 26, 2018, in additional elements of the appeal dated July 4, 2019, as well as in the objections and opinions held during the judicial review by the Appeal Chamber, therefor requested from the adjudication panel the modifying of decision no.62/2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and dismissal from office of the subject of re-evaluation, Mr. Artur Malaj.
The subject of re-evaluation, in compliance with the final objections, claimed that by the conduct of the financial analysis of his overall asset assessment, the Appeal Chamber has investigated beyond the appeal of the Public Commissioner, and in rejecting all the grounds of this appeal requested his confirmation in duty.
The Adjudication Panel notified that the hearing on the announcement of the final decision shall be held on October 24, at 15:00 p.m.
