The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 112/2019, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the subject of re-evaluation Mr. Dritan Peka, prosecutor, head of the Prosecution Office of the Appeal Court, Tirana.
The presiding judge, after verifying the presence of the parties in the hearing session, announced that referring to the intermediate decision of the previous hearing, the subject of the re-evaluation had electronically filed objections related to the financial analysis, conducted by the AC, at the request of the Public Commissioner.
The Public Commissioner, referring to the grounds of the appeal and after getting acquainted with the financial analysis of the financial adequacy of the subject of the re-evaluation for the period 2003 – 2016, conducted by the Appeal Chamber at his request, expressed consent for some items, while opposing the calculation in cash liquidity ratio, declared by the subject of re-evaluation in the periodic declarations as of 2005 and 2010.
The subject of the re-evaluation, in his position, objected the findings of the aforementioned analysis and to sustain in terms of its veracity submitted 16 new acts.
The adjudication panel, with an intermediate decision, after administering the new evidence, deposited by the subject of the re-evaluation, declared the end of the judicial investigation and invited the parties to present their final conclusions, on October 8, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.
