The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 231/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the subject of re-evaluation, Mr. Anton Martini, commanded prosecutor at the Prosecution Office of the First Instance Court, Tiranë.
The presiding judge, after verifying the presence of the parties, requested explanations from the subject of the re-evaluation regarding some acts, submitted in the previous session.
Following the judicial process, the Public Commissioner presented his objections for the counter-appeal of the subject of re-evaluation related to the legal time limits for filing the appeal.
The adjudication panel, after being acquainted with the position of the Public Commissioner, that he did not request further investigation of the appeal, primarily decided to open the judicial investigation and to administer in the quality of evidence the acts submitted by the subject of re-evaluation. Therefore in order to provide enough time to the parties to determine their positions regarding the provability of the administered acts and the public denunciations, the adjudication panel decided to adjourn the hearing on April 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
