The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continuing the judicial review of the appeal filed against Decision no. 264/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mrs. Elona Toro, judge at Tirana Court of Appeals.
After verifying the parties’ presence in the hearing, the presiding judge invited the assessee to present her answers related to the questions conducted by case rapporteur over the financial analysis.
The assessee, in support of her claims on some items of the financial analysis conducted by the Appeal Chamber, filed some additional documents, of which she requested the administration in the quality of evidence.
The Public Commissioner, asked by the presiding judge, had no objections regarding the request of the assessee, related to the administration of additional acts, but underlined the fact that based on the content of the act, one of the written acts was not complete.
On the line of the same finding of the written act, the adjudication panel concluded after being consulted in the deliberation room not to administer this act, while confirming to the assessee that the other written documents were held in the quality of evidence.
Subsequently, neither parties did not express other procedural requests, thus the adjudication panel decided to close the investigation and invited the parties to present the conclusions.
The Public Commissioner asked for an appropriate time to be provided for the conclusion’s preparation, taking into consideration the submission of the assessee during today’s hearing session.
Under these circumstances, the adjudication panel decided that the following hearing to present the conclusions will be held on January 25, 2023, 12:00.
