The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continuing the judicial review of the appeal filed against Decision no. 287/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mrs. Anita Mici, judge at Durrës Court of Appeal.
After verifying the parties’ presence in the hearing, the presiding judge invited the Public Commissioner and the assessee to present the final discussions.
During the final discussions, the Public Commissioner concluded that the assessee is found in inaccuracy and insufficient condition of asset declaration. Also, regarding the proficiency assessment criterion and the overall evaluation, the Public Commissioner recognized that the assessee failed to prove the opposite of the appeal grounds. The Public Commissioner at the end of his submissions, requested the amendment of the decision no. 287/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Mrs. Anita Mici
Upon her stance the assessee claimed the opposite of the findings of the Public Commissioner, defining them as unfounded on evidence, and asked the panel to uphold decision no. 287/2020, of the Independent Qualification Commission.
The adjudication panel, after becoming acquainted with the conclusions of the litigants, retires for advisory proceedings to take the final decision, which will be announced on February 23, 2023, at 15:30.
