The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continuing the judicial review of the appeal filed against Decision no. 535/2022, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mr. Bledar Bejko, prosecutor at the Durrës District Prosecution Office.
After verifying the parties’ presence in the hearing, the presiding judge invited the parties to present their final conclusions.
The Public Commissioner as also expressed in the previous hearing of the date 19.06.2023, deemed that the acts forwarded by the Prosecution Office of the First Instance Court, Durrës, and the acts lodged by the assessee, don’t impact the alteration of the final research, thus leaving the assessment up to the court.
Moreover, standing to all the appeal grounds, also referring to the written submissions administered during this trial, notwithstanding the judicial review of this case, the Public Commissioner requested the Appeal Chamber the amendment of decision no. 535/2022, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Mr. Bledar Bejko.
The assessee, from his side, claimed that the appeal was filed beyond the legal time limits and therefore the grounds are not based on facts and evidence. In conclusion of his submissions, the assessee requested the court his re-confirmation of duty.
The adjudication panel, after hearing the final conclusions of the parties, retired for deliberation to make the final decision, which will be announced on June 26, 2023, at 14:00 p.m.
