On 7.7.2023, at the conclusion of the relevant hearing session, the Independent Qualification Commission decided the confirmation in office of the assessee, Mr. Artur Ismajlukaj, prosecutor at the Prosecution Office of the First Instance Court of Elbasan.
The decision no. 681/2023 of the Independent Qualification Commission was notified to the Public Commissioners today on 4.9.2023.
Today, on 4.9.2023, the International Monitoring Operation (IMO) submitted to the Public Commissioners the recommendation to appeal the decision to the Appeal Chamber.
The Public Commissioners are conducting a simultaneous review of both, the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and the recommendation of the International Monitoring Operation.
In accordance with Point 1, Article 63, of law no.84/2016 “On the Transitional Re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, the Public Commissioners have the right to appeal the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission to the Appeal Chamber, within 15 days of the notification.
