The Public Commissioner within the legal time limit filed an appeal at the Appeal Chamber by the Constitutional Court against Decision no. 696/2023, issued by the Independent Qualification Commission. This decision pertains to the assessee, Mrs. Marsida Frashëri, who holds the position of prosecutor at the First Instance Court of Shkodra General Jurisdiction.
The Public Commissioner based on the review of decision no. 696/2023, of the Independent Qualification Commission, has determined that the assessee did not meet the qualifying level for the confirmation in office, amid her actions and inactions, she has seriously violated the public trust in the justice system.
The Public Commissioner assesses that the appeal grounds be considered by the Appeal Chamber, and upon the whole completion of the judicial review, to decide the amendment of the decision no. 696/2023, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Mrs. Marsida Frashëri.
In accordance with point 1 of Article 16 of the Institution of Public Commissioners’ regulations, the appeal has been published on the official website of the institution, which can be accessed at http://ikp.al/ankime.
