The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber as continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against Decision no. 574/2022, issued by the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mr. Pëllumb Zaimi, who holds the position of judge at the Berat Judicial District Court.
After verifying the parties’ attendance at the hearing, the presiding judge invited the Public Commissioner to present the final conclusions.
The Public Commissioner, adhering to all the appeal grounds, even after the judicial review of this case, assessed that the documents filed by the assessee and administered in the quality of evidence by the Chamber, do not alter the outcome of the final research. In concluding the final conclusions, the Public Commissioner requested the panel to amend decision no. 574 /2022, of the Independent Qualification Commission and to dismiss from office the assessee, Mr. Pëllumb Zaimi.
During the final conclusions the assessee, opposed the Public Commissioner’s submissions and requested the panel his reconfirmation in office.
After hearing the parties’ conclusions, the adjudication panel retired for deliberation, to make the final decision, which will be announced on December 15, 2023, at 9:15 a.m.
