The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber as continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against Decision no. 634/2023, issued by the Independent Qualification Commission, for the assessee, Mr. Naim Tota, who holds the position of prosecutor at the Tirana District Prosecution Office.
After verifying the parties’ presence in the hearing, the presiding judge invited the litigants to present their final conclusions.
The Public Commissioner, adhering to the appeal grounds and their submissions, as well having evaluated the evidence presented by the assessee during the judicial review of the case, requested the panel to amend decision no. 634/.2023, of the Independent Qualification Commission and the dismissal from office of the assessee, Mr. Naim Tota.
The legal representative and the assessee also objected to the conclusions reached by the Public Commissioner and they requested the adjudication panel to uphold the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and his reconfirmation in office.
Once the adjudication panel became acquainted with the final conclusions of the litigants, retired for deliberation to make the final decision, which will be announced on December 13, 2023, at 14:30.
