The Public Commissioner was present today at the Appeal Chamber while continued the judicial review of the appeal filed against the Decision no. 342/2021, of the Independent Qualification Commission, of the assessee Mrs. Elbana Lluri, magistrate/judge at Tirana Court of Appeal.

During the verification of the parties’ presence in the hearing, the presiding judge communicated the Opinion of the International Monitoring Operation, regarding the necessity of the Appeal Chamber to consider the possibility to merge the re-evaluation processes of the assessees, Mrs. Elbana Lluri and Mr. Gerd Hoxha.

Subsequently, at the request of the presiding judge, the Public Commissioner and the assessee stated their viewpoints related to the opinion of the International Monitoring Operation.

The adjudication panel, after consultation, by an intermediate decision decided to take in the quality of evidence the acts, which are in the file of the IQC decision, pertaining to the assessee, Mr. Gerd Hoxha, which are related sole to the asset assessment criterion, as well as the new acts that he has submitted to the Chamber during the judicial review, for this assessment criterion.

The adjudication panel, after hearing the parties’ stance concerning the afore interim decision, decided to adjourn the following hearing on May 25, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., in order to provide time to the parties to get acquainted with the new acts.
